Skip worked with me on speaker placement for the main speakers in my hybrid home theater / two-channel listening room. My mains are Wilson Sasha DAWs. Like most Wilson owners, I started by following the WASP setup guidance and I truly thought I had the system dialed in. The room already had serious investment behind it—high-end electronics, careful cabling, and professionally designed/custom acoustic treatment. It sounded great. But after hearing a few other systems—and more importantly, after learning what “real” imaging and depth can sound like—I realized I was still leaving something substantial on the table. Speaker placement was the one variable I hadn’t fully mastered, and I knew I needed someone with trained ears, a consistent reference, and the patience to do it right. Skip brought exactly that. This is not a quick “move it until it’s better” appointment. Skip treated my room like it was his own and approached the work with a level of professionalism and care that’s rare today. He spent a full day optimizing placement with a blend of methodical tools and what ultimately matters most: a disciplined ear and a clear reference for what correct imaging should sound like. He al

I have bought several pieces of gear from Audio Thesis and have been very happy with each purchase. Skip doesn't just want to make a sell, he wants to make sure you are getting the right piece of gear for YOUR situation. He actually talked me out of buying a more expensive pair of speakers because he knew that they were too much for my listening room. If you are in the market for new audio equipment, you will be selling yourself short if you don't give Audio Thesis a chance to earn your business.

I was brand new to the higher-end audio market, and Skip was gracious enough to spend time with me to help figure out the exact products I needed to achieve what I wanted to accomplish, all within the budget I set for myself. There was no upselling, no pressure -- nothing but an honest opinion from a very honest person. Delivery of the products occurred very quickly, and he even offered a telephone call help me set up the system. Skip's knowledge and integrity are what sets him apart in this field. I cannot recommend his services highly enough.

Purchasing from Derek at AudioThesis has been a pleasure. They carry quality brands and to me Derek’s main goal is to make sure the customer is happy. He was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions that I had. He also followed up to see if I was still happy with the purchase. I would definitely purchase from Derek and AudioThesis again and recommend him to others.

If you are just getting into this hobby or upgrading parts of your system, I can wholeheartedly recommend Derek, better known as Skip as a top salesman and teacher of the stereophile variety. I have purchased several pieces of gear from Skip and have/will buy more in the future. If you want to have a great experience and not be pushed into buying something, give Audio Thesis a call.
